I always love the projects we make at SU! regionals. I especially loved this page we made. I would have never thought to use the negative in the chipboard for a letter, nor would I have thought to use the inside piece of the W for an arrow. I love the colors too. I also got a kick out of outlining the snowflake with versamarker, great detail. Love to learn.

I love Saturdays
I work at school so it is a day off for em as well as the kids. My kids are all busy with their own things today so I plan on spending the day playing in my scrap studio.
I also have some exciting news that I want to share. I have been chosen as the Guest Creative Team Member for the month of November for http://www.shopscrapbooksupplies.com/store/
Besides getting some very cool product for my CT projects I am also being given a discount code to share with my friends for the month of November. The code will allow the customer to receive a 15% discount off of their first order in the store (minimum of $10 order before taxes, shipping, etc)
the code is PSREF. Feel free to share this with your friends also :-)

moma says
My mom is funny. I adore her though.
She didn't much care for last weeks layout, it was too blah. So here is my redo. I do have to say I LOVE the pumpkin patch. Masking is a great way to make a realistic scene. And it came in handy when I wanted to sponge color around the pumpkins. Most of my scrappers sponged green on the bottom of the pumpkins, and I encouraged them to use a blend of gray and black, the blue was just out of place. These pumpkins were perfect for masking, easy to cut out.
Just stamp the pumpkin on a post it note, then cut it out, I did several layers of each so I could mask several at a time. Then stamp your focal object. Cover it with the post it version and stamp again, PERFECTO!
have a great weekend, I am off to PTA duties!

quick
By now you know I like for things to be fast. This was the fastest layout I have ever made. I am not totally happy with it, but it will work.
It has been a super busy week, and I am just happy to have put ink on stamps! I know you all have those days.
